‘’we are here helpless, our environment has become an embarrassment to us and those migrants who emigrates and migrates with different perception, one wonders what flows through there minds, given what they see when moving around within our habitats. Said, a resident of Akesan community.

The importance embedded in healthiness through effective and sustainable clearance of our immediate environment on a daily basis can only be achieved with there is genuine mind of those operating it. Also, it imeagablity depends on its effectiveness in waste disposal system and managemental ability more especially in these wise, where the state of Lagos has it policy anchored on privatizations with the thought of being perfected on a regular basis around us which certainly is of doubt in these circumstance the Akesan community had found then self’s in.

This is especially so, when the outcome of such development is being done with utmost sense of insincerity. Unfortunately, these were the case in a community which has it settlement adjoining igando, an integral part of a habitat, which makes up Alimosho local government in Lagos state. ‘’we are  in a dilemma of  sustainable out come,  where indeed the introduction of private partnership support by the government of the day is in actual sense,  not yielding its desired results, where the hope lies primarily in complimenting the government in ensuring cleanliness in our environment.
