When is Dstv going the Gsm Way in Nigeria?

So many households today are gradually getting tired of the tariff dstv is charging.  Until recently, the private station, South Africa based increased its tariff again, to the detriment of the common people, making it more cumbersome for many house holders to operate and manage. Normally, we have  the lowest categories of one thousand five hundred that many low income earners subscribe too as result, not until when its managements decided to sky rocket it price, making it more frustrating for so many in that category to sustain. It is a common knowledge also, that those in such levels are much in its data base, with very limited international channels that goes for it, and unfortunately, ‘’are where more of those subscribers are found there self's, and deliberately, refusing to give efficiency in terms of its quality assurances in return for its regular payment majority of its subscribers does, which sadly, had remained uncompromised by the authority involved.

Some very close family members, friends and  who are close to Buhari government have wondered and asked me why I criticize Buhari often.
I have always told them that his approach to governance is very far from solving the fundamental problems of Nigeria and except his feet his held to fire, we are headed for another four years of waste.

Saraki; what i have done wrong. By Olusegun Ariyo

The battle is not yet over; The lingering legal tussle the  Nigeria senate president, Dr saraki is facing at code of conduct tribunal has been  given wide range of spectrum of views ranging from different perception. The arguments is based on the premise that  he saraki did not declare his asset appropriately. witness put forward is coming from Efcc, the originator of the prosecution is coming from the attorney general's office. initially, when the nation is yet to have a substantive minster of justice and attorney general of the federation, there was this argument that its only the attorney general that can instigate such case, the matter was sort for clarification through judicial interpretation and it was declared that the solicitor general could; it was from this unfolding s, it becomes clearer according to them in saraki's camp, that  the pointer was actually coming from the direction of the executive  . In these narratives, Dr Saraki believes part of his sin was when he opposed  Muslim/ Muslim ticket, his ambition of becoming senate president and other sundry issues, was as a results of his present predicaments with code of conduct tribunal.Enjoy the excerpts

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN FUNDS Femi Fani Kayode

''The truth is like a lion. You don't have to defend it. Let it lose and it will defend itself''- St. Augustine.
For the last few weeks I have been the subject of absurd and outlandish headline stories in various newspapers who have accused me of being a fraudster and who have claimed that funds were transferred into my bank account by the former National Security Advisor, Col. Sambo Dasuki and by the Governor of the Central Bank Bank of Nigeria.
They have also claimed that I used public funds for the Presidential campaign of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The attempt to tarnish my name, paint me as a common criminal and convict me of wrongdoing in the court of public opinion without even hearing my side of the story is petty, shameful and nauseating.

Chibok mothers write heat-breaking letters to kidnapped daughters -olusegun Ariyo

The recent video of Boko Haram hostage taking of kidnapped Chibok girls from Borno state that recently crept out from CNN reports, showing fifteen out of the two hundred and nineteen girls has again, brought to the fore, that indeed, those children were alive. Back here in Nigeria, the Chibok parents and the bring back our girls campaign (BBOG) has stepped up their efforts of echoing out there voices as means of communicating to this government again on the need to re-strategize, and to disprove the assertion from some individuals who in one way or the other had raised there doubt as to whether those girls were alive or not. Some parent that was courageous enough to watch the clips fall back into agony, pains and psychological torture.  Here is what some of the parents of the missing girls wrote to their wards

President Buhari and Tinubu's Blindspot. by Reno Omokri

I read the papers today and two of the most conspicuous headlines centered on comments made by President Muhammadu Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, National Leader of his party, the All Progressive Congress, APC.
As if in a coordinated onslaught, both of them blamed Nigeria's current woes on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and its 16 years in power.
There were many headlines reflecting their accusations, but the most descriptive, in my opinion, were from ThisDay and Punch newspapers.
